 Mancetter Cub Scout Pack

Cub Scouts are young boys and girls aged from 8 to 10½ years of age. They belong to the second section of the scouting family.

Cubs were originally started in 1916 for younger brothers who wanted a 'look-in'. In nearly a century, the section has constantly evolved and adapted its programme and methods to meet the changing needs of each generation of young people, and these days admits girls as well as boys.

During their time in the Pack, Cub Scouts will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting.

Camp Fire

Our Cubs meet on Wednesday nights and do loads of fun things. They get the chance to try out lots of activities with friends. Some of which earn them awards and badges to display on their uniform. Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out including camping, sleeping in tents and experiencing lots of adventure.
