Our Activity Centre


Built on an ancient Roman settlement in rural Warwickshire, “Mancetter Scout Group Activity Centre” is home to, and managed by, 1st Mancetter (St Peter’s) Scout Group. The Centre is located in 2 acres of its own grounds, adjacent to the River Anker in rural Warwickshire. It is a two storey purpose built and fully contained facility opened in November 2000, offering self catering accommodation for youth groups and other organisations.We are within easy access of local shops and the larger town facilities of Tamworth and Nuneaton.

Our facilities include:

·    Large spacious Main Hall with tables and chairs. (Access available to audio   visual facilities with large screen and projector upon request)

·    Fully fitted kitchen.

·    Leaders office

·    Male and female toilets with showers.

·    Disabled toilet

·    6 Dormitories that sleep 40 (1 x 10, 3 x 8, 1 x 4, 1 x 2). All upstairs rooms have fitted carpets. All Dorms have modern, safe bunk beds with mattresses and protective covers. Bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.

·    Committee room / training room.

·    Full central heating for all year round use.

·    Campfire circle. (Please enquire as to the availability of wood)

·    Large outdoor grassed area for camping, games and activities.
